We’re building a new kind of membership for your family - one that makes it easy to enjoy amazing toys and English-language books, return, and repeat. It's a simple solution that saves money, reduces waste, and keeps your child learning and growing - without the extra stuff.
How It Works
Step 1:
A week before delivery, we’ll send you a sneak peek of your curated box—3–4 age-perfect books and toys, complete with photos and descriptions. Don’t love something? You can easily swap it out.
Step 2:
Your box arrives at your doorstep in a sturdy, reusable container—at a scheduled time and ready to enjoy.
Step 3:
Enjoy the books and toys for 3 weeks of fun and discovery. When you're done, simply pack everything back into the box.
Step 4:
We’ll pick up the box at the designated time, then clean and sanitize each item with care. The next day, you’ll receive a preview of your upcoming box—delivered the following week.

At the moment, we’re only available in the city of Barcelona. We’re working hard to expand, so stay tuned!

No stress—we expect a little wear and tear (we’re parents too!). These toys and books are meant to be played with, not kept in bubble wrap.
If something gets broken or too damaged to reuse, your first oopsie is on us. After that, we’ll just ask for a replacement fee so we can keep the fun going for all families.

We’ll be sad to see you go, but we understand. You can cancel anytime. If you still have items from us, we’ll arrange a pickup and send you a heartfelt farewell note instead of a preview of your next box.

WordPlay provides a curated selection of toys, books, and related educational materials designed for use by children. These items are sourced from third-party suppliers and delivered to users as part of a subscription or rental service.
The service is intended to support development, creativity, and family engagement. However, all materials must be used under adult supervision and are not a substitute for parental guidance or professional advice.
2. User Responsibilities
By using our service, you agree to:
Ensure that any toys or books provided are age-appropriate for your child.
Carefully inspect all items before giving them to a child.
Supervise children at all times while they are using items provided by WordPlay.
Immediately remove and report any item you believe to be unsafe, damaged, or defective.
Comply with any return policies, care guidelines, or instructions issued with the products.
Use the service lawfully, without infringing on any third-party rights or breaching local safety laws.
Failure to follow these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of your account.
3. Product Sourcing and Manufacturer Disclaimer
We are not the manufacturer of the toys or books provided through our service. All items are selected from third-party sources and offered “as is.” While we aim to choose items that meet safety and quality standards (including CE-marked products), we do not guarantee their performance, safety, or suitability for your specific needs.
If you have questions about a product's origin or compliance, please contact us and we will provide available documentation or identify the original supplier.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WordPlay, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and founders shall not be liable for any injury, harm, or damage resulting from the use or misuse of any item provided through the service.
All items must be used under adult supervision, and the user assumes full responsibility for their use.
We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall our liability exceed the total amount paid by you for the service during the preceding 3 months.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WordPlay and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and founders from any claims, demands, damages, or legal expenses arising from:
Your use or misuse of any product
Your violation of these Terms
Any third-party claim relating to your conduct or that of a child under your supervision while using our items

We reserve the right to modify or terminate the service or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing them periodically.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Catalunya.
